What is Life Coaching?
I get asked this question a lot and it is a term that is tossed around a great deal. Life coaching is like a personal trainer for your life. When you are sick you see a doctor or practitioner, right? So who do you see when you are generally emotionally healthy but want to uncover and connect with your essential self and increase the joy in your life? You see me - a life coach.

I work together with my clients. I coach based on the idea that we all have an essential self that we are born with. Overtime, we lose this part of who we are over the years. I guide you to connect with this self by peeling back the layers that are preventing you from living your best life. I will ask you questions, I will give you exercises and most importantly I will teach you how to change your thoughts that all lead to finding yourself.

How can life coaching help me?
I am your guide. I can help you get a handle on what is that “thing” that is preventing you from moving forward in your life. Most of us live by reacting to circumstances in our daily lives – people, events, our workplace, and children. I will help you to stop living reactively and start taking charge of your life. We will look at how your thoughts are creating this reactive life and make the changes to create a more stable and directed life.

How is life coaching different from therapy?
A therapist looks primarily at your past. A life coach looks at what issues you are facing NOW and identifying the limiting beliefs you have held onto for years that prevent you from moving forward and creating the life you want. A life coach may look at your past, but only to dissolve the belief that was created in a past circumstance that is affecting your life in the present.

Why are you qualified to help me?
First of all, I have been in your shoes. I was in a place in my life where I lost the connection with who I really was inside. There was that “something” that wasn’t quite “right” and I wanted to find my voice. I wanted to live authentically. I worked with coaches and found the answers. I did the work. Certified Clinical Holistic Nutritionist from the Natural Healing Institute of Naturopathy with a focus on disease (cancer) and the pH of the body. I have been practicing nutrition for over ten years and can help you to heal from the inside out. We will look at every facet to achieve this together!

Certified Personal Trainer from the National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM). I have been in the fitness industry for over fifteen years and can help you create your best body!. We will focus on exercise, nutrition and your thoughts – these three together are responsible for where you are today. We will make the necessary changes that fit into your life realistically to get you where you want to be.
